Lace retreat weekend at The old Police Station, Wharncliffe Road, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, DE7 5GF
This weekend is for a maximum of 12 lacemakers and aimed at lacemakers who just want to get out for the day/weekend and just have some relaxing time in the company of fellow lacemakers.
Come along and enjoy a chilled weekend of making lace without tuition. (Louise will be available and happy to help if you get stuck but will not be formally teaching. ****NOT suitable for absolute beginners****)
The emphasis is a relaxed weekend doing a pleasurable craft without normal everyday pressures and distractions.
Cost will be £40 for the two day, hours 9.30-4.30 and include drinks, biscuits and afternoon cake but please bring a packed lunch or buy something locally. (there are a number of cafes and lunch outlets very close by, particularly on the Saturday)
The Conference room where the course will be held is on the first floor and unfortunately there is no lift due to the age of the building. Please contact before booking if you have any concerns and these can be discussed.
