This Bucks Point long oval motif is worked using floral Bucks Point techniques, with many pairs being added and thrown out during the work.
It uses approximately 100 pairs of bobbins, and Egyptian Cotton 80/2 thread with a cotton perle 12 for the gimp.
The pattern was inspired from a Pope and Sivewright edging pattern in the collection of the Lace Guild,
Stourbridge (UK).
Although the direction of work is shown on the pattern, it can be displayed in either landscape or portrait
mode, so suitable for displaying in a frame, the top of a box, a small tray etc.
This is for the pattern sheet only, Ready to work Pricking only also available.
