The design uses 56 pairs of Presencia Finca 60 for the main thread, with contrasting Mez coats cotton for the added colour. Two pairs of dark pink (shade 6811) for the two passive pairs in the edge and seven pairs of the paler pink (shade 3741) for the 5 pairs of workers and 2 pairs for the leaf tallies.
A few of the finca pairs are added in and thrown out, but not many, it is not a highly floral piece. The piece also uses delica or small seed beads for the addition of colour, and in the photograph the bead colour matched the darker shade of pink.
"Ready to Work" is a pattern that is printed onto pricking card and the holes made in it by a computer controlled laser process, ensuring an accurate pattern. This process also saves time, meaning you can get on to the making of the lace much quicker.
